PROFHILO

We’re very excited to be offering Profhilo treatment at Faces by AKJ. Profhilo® has been specially formulated to contain a unique level of Hyaluronic Acid (a naturally occurring substance found in our bodies that is responsible for maintaining moisture within our skin). Profhilo is a 5 point face lift which rejuvenates the skin and is an injectable skin remodelling treatment containing one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) on the market, especially formulated for patients whose skin lacks volume and elasticity.

Rather than just plumping and filling wrinkles, the slow release of HA by Profhilo stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which in turn improves skin tone, hydration and the appearance of fine lines, the result is improved skin quality lasting for up to 6 months.

HA is hydrophilic, meaning it draws and holds water from your body, so Profhilo acts as a hydrator rather than a filler. This makes it’s fantastic for those with tired, dull-looking skin, transforming it into firm and luminous skin. The substance is injected just below the skin’s surface and it disperses quickly across the skin to instantly boost hydration, consequently smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, resulting in improved skin texture!  This effect normally takes place within 3-5 days of treatment and we’d always advise 2 sessions (approx 4 weeks apart) for the best results possible.
